1. Design your car:

It is the most important step to start with. If you have no experience of designing a car before,it might seem a difficult task .But don’t worry. At first you need to think of the shape of the body to be made and with that thought make an estimate of the amount of metals you will need.

Buy slightly more than you estimated, don’t worry the excess metal will not be a waste ,it will be useful in other steps of work.

Once you start the work the design process of your car will seem very easy to you. You can modify your design whenever you want.

For our car we used mild steel . Mild steel is less expensive, on the other hand stainless steel is costly but it is light in weight.

1. Instrument or machines to be needed:

a)      Welding instrument

• MS rod(for mild steel)
• SS rod(for stainless steel)

b)      Grinding machine( to shape a body of for finishing)

c)       Drilling machine

d)      Lathe machine

e)      Holding vice

f)       Hammer, Pliers, screw driver etc.
