3. Chassis and wheels:
After making the chassis we will place the wheels and the engine. It is the most interesting part because after completing this part the rest of our work will be completed very quickly.
Now that we’ve placed the wheels it’s time to place the engine.
The engine was supported with two parallel bars at the bottom with nut and bolts and two rods at the top of the engine.
The wheel was placed in the axle with bearing and a socket having 4 bolts like shown in the figure.
But be careful of placing the permanently because you may need them to change if necessary (like we needed to place the brake system in the axle shaft).
4. Steering system:
The steering system is simple. Here we used the same steering system as we use on a motorcycle. Here we used motorcycle handle and cut it to set it within the drivers area.
In our car we had to use a plate made of mild steel which was placed under the handle base to support it. It was important because without it the handle base was breaking.
5. Gear and Clutch:
Most of the motorcycle engine is provided with the clutch function. We used an extension rod to bring the gear change mechanism in hand.
Note :Power transmission in this car is by chain and sproket mechanism. You will Have to attach a sproket at the rear axle and fix it there rigidlly. After that a chain will have to connect to transmit the power from the engine.
